Merge SI, SwissICT and ICTswitzerland postponed

The merge between the three Swiss associations, SI, SwissICT and ICTswitzerland, aiming at consolidating the ICT domain in Switzerland has been postponed. The reason is because there are still some political and statutes issues to be deeply discussed.

Ticino IT Day 2009

The 9th of April took place in Lugano the 1st edition of Ticino IT Day.

It was an interesting event promoted by AIM Consulting and Green Systems. Eight seminars were presente. Among the topics there were the next generation of virtualization (presented by VMWare) and the RFID technology presented by (Kyema).

About 400 people registered for the event. The idea of the promoters is to propose the event also for next year.

 

ICTswitzerland General Assembly

On Thursday, March 19th, at 4:15PM, the General Assembly of Swiss Informatics Society will take place at Novotel Zürich City West.

During SI Assembly it will take place also ICTswitzerland General Assembly. The key topic of the two events will be the merge between SI, SwissICT and ICTswitzerland in one big association called ICTswitzerland.
